The fight to attain organisational rights as a registered trade union is on. EUSA's legal team has submitted the application and all necessary documents to the National Department of Basic Education, and continued membership growth strengthens that application.
For the Union to keep protecting its members efficiently, members must continue paying the monthly subscription as stipulated in section 8 of the EUSA Constitution. The subscription is payable monthly to the Union's bank account (see the Join page for details).
Section 8.6 of the Constitution requires that a record of each member's contributions be kept. Members are urged to forward proof of payment — the indication of being a member in good standing — to their Provincial Treasurer or Provincial Authorised Person by WhatsApp or email.
